Details: The JBR EGR Block-Off Kit is the most inexpensive way to make more power and keep carbon and soot build up from occurring in your DISI engine.
The EGR System recirculates dirty, hot exhaust gasses back into the intake resulting in a significant build up of carbon deposits on the valves. This build up will eventually lead to a loss of compression, loss of horsepower and ultimately leading to costly and time-consuming repairs to correct the problem.
By adding the *JBR EGR Block-Off Plate Kit horsepower is increased! Cooler, denser air makes more power and recirculating hot exhaust gasses back into the intake is robbing you of that power! Our block-off plate is laser cut from .062" 6061 aluminum. It's tough enough to stand up to the hot exhaust gas but not so thick that you have to fight with the EGR tube or run the risk of stripping bolts during re-installation.
We include a plug for the intake too! Not only does it allow you to block off the EGR, but with the included plug you can completely remove the entire EGR tube making for a cleaner looking engine build.

*There is a possibility of an intermittent CEL from bypassing the EGR system. This will not effect engine performance or longevity. The CEL can be easily cleared with a scan tool such as the VeraTuner or the COBB AccessPORT.
