Wanted to go with this kit instead of a competitor's product because this one offers a greater reduction in the length of the throw on the shorter setting. I had never been as deep into my engine bay as I needed to get to install this shift plate, but managed to get through with a combination of Youtube videos as well as both sets of instructions from JBR and the competitor. The difference is night and day - I couldn't be more satisfied with how short and crisp the shifts feel compared to before. If you are going to do this and are even slightly inclined to swap the OEM cable bushings for JBR's solid transmission cable bushings, save yourself a boatload of time and effort and do them both at once. The bushings are readily accessible during installation of this kit, and you will kick yourself if you have to go back and do it twice.
